Young Hatter Claude Kayibanda has joined our National League North neighbours Bedford Town on a 28-day youth loan.

The 19-year-old Enfield-born player, who can play in defence or midfield, has joined Lee Bircham's Eagles ahead of their league opener at home to Alfreton Town tomorrow afternoon.

Claude, who made his full international debut for Rwanda in June shortly after signing a contract extension with the Hatters, featured in Bedford's final pre-season friendly away at Taunton Town last weekend.

Everyone at Kenilworth Road wishes him well for his first experience of senior domestic football at the Eyrie.
