Young attacker Taylan Harris has joined League Two side Tranmere Rovers on loan until January.

The 19-year-old, a graduate of Reading’s academy where he spent over a decade, made his senior debut for the Royals in January 2023 before joining the Town 12 months later.

He was named in Hatters’ first-team squad for the first time in the Premier League fixture against Manchester City in April 2024.

Last term the forward was a regular for Alex Lawless’ Under-21s, helping the Town reach the last-16 of the Premier League Cup.

He joins a Rovers side who get their league season under way away to Colchester a week on Saturday.
