Ladies meet Milton Keynes on Sunday

Town aim to bounce back to winning ways after pushing leaders close last weekend

Luton Town Ladies meet with Milton Keynes for the fourth time this season, when the two sides face each other at Barton on Sunday.

The Town will be looking to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat to league leaders Fulham last Sunday when they face a Milton Keynes side that they have already beaten three times this campaign.

Following her injury during last Sunday’s match against Fulham, the club is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Mulvaney was discharged in the evening after the game, and has begun a period of rest back home. Liz has the support of everyone at the club, and we wish her the speediest of recoveries.

The opposition

Ex-Hatters boss, Fadi Mazloum, will be in the dugout for Milton Keynes, after he was appointed as head coach in January, following the departure of Stephen Healy.

Mazloum has been in charge of Milton Keynes for five games across all competitions. His reign started with back-to-back defeats, first at home to Actonians and then away to London Bees. A fortnight ago, Mazloum picked up his first three points in charge, with a 3-0 away triumph over Cambridge United.

The Buckinghamshire-based side currently sit 10th in the FA WNL Division One South East table, seven points behind the Town who are in sixth place.

Milton Keynes have only won two of their eight away games this season, scoring just the 10 goals.

Back the Town at Barton

The Ladies need your support at Sharpenhoe Road as they look to move level with QPR in fifth place.

Tickets for the match will be available via cash only turnstiles on the day, priced at £5 adults and just £1 children.
