The Town will look to build on last Sunday’s positive result when they host the struggling U’s.
The Ladies picked up their third league clean sheet of the season during last Sunday’s stalemate with QPR at Barton. Young keeper, Leah Robinson, not only prevented the Hoops from netting, she also picked up the Player Of The Match award during her first appearance of the season.
The Town will be looking to enact revenge on the U’s after a 5-0 hammering at their place earlier in the season.
The opposition
Following a poor run of form, this week Cambridge United officially announced the departure of Women’s Head Coach, Sean Greygoose. With an interim in place to take on the Hatters.
Cambridge United did enjoy a positive start to the 2025/26 season, winning four of their first five league matches.
But since the turn of the year, the U’s have been on a downwards spiral, failing to win in any of their previous seven league matches – a run of form that has seen them slip to one place above the drop, in tenth place.
The managerless U’s will be looking to pick up their first win away from home in all competitions since October 2025, when they narrowly defeated University Of Nottingham 2-1 in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
Back the Ladies
The Ladies need your support as they play their penultimate home game of the season, and look to get back to winning ways, following a four-game winless run.
Tickets will be available at the turnstiles on the day at Barton Rovers’ Sharpenhoe Road ground, priced at £5 adults and just £1 children, cash only.
