Hatters staff take on Stepping Stones September Challenge!

24 members of staff walk, run or cycle every day this month for club charity of the year

Hatty Stepping Stonesac

No fewer than 25 Luton Town colleagues (there is still time for more to join!) are taking on a September challenge to raise funds and awareness for club charity of the year, Stepping Stones.

In recent years several members of club staff have taken part in Prostate United, raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK by running, walking or cycling every day for the month of October.

This year we have decided to follow the same model of running, walking or cycling every day, but starting in September, and in aid of Stepping Stones, the Luton-based charity dedicated to empowering women who have suffered domestic abuse or are vulnerable due to substance misuse by providing hope and the skills and resources to make positive life choices.

The options are to:

a) Run or walk 3km each day in September

b) Run or walk 5km each day in September

c) Cycle 10km each day in September

d) Go above and beyond any of those targets!

If you feel able to donate, then please do so via the JustGiving page below:

And if you see any of the following people out and about on the streets of Luton and surrounding areas over the next 30 days, or recording their achievements on social media, please offer encouragement. And feel free to join in, too!

Aiden Knowles, Alex Lawless, Andrew Barringer, Cheryl Jacobsen, Cris da Silva, Dec O'Reilly, Emily Howes, George Dunn, Jack Ainsworth, Jenn Smith, Kelly Lawson, Kevin Foley, Kevin Pilkington, Kobie Dee, Luke Gregory, Mike Hooker, Monika Jude, Narada Bernard, Nasreen Afzal, Paul Ballantyne, Philip Hilaire-Moore, Sarah Denmark, Stuart Hammonds, Tom Schofield and Zac Neal.

Thank you, and good luck guys!
