Elijah Adebayo took his first steps back on a football pitch this afternoon as he progresses along the road to rehabilitation from the ACL injury suffered almost 11 months ago.

The 28-year-old completed his first 45 minutes of match action in the U21s’ game at Cambridge United Clare College training ground, with more run-outs to come before he is ready for a first team return.

It went well too, our Magic Man netting early on to give us a 1-0 half-time lead before he made way.
