At the Hatters' club media day ahead of the Vertu Trophy final at Wembley this Sunday, Liam Walsh spoke to several platforms about the baby loss during pregnancy that he and his partner, Aston Villa Women and England international Missy Bo Kearns, suffered last month.
The 28-year-old spoke to Joe Flemons for LTFC+ at the end of an emotional day in which he addressed an important subject with bravery and honesty we have come to expect of our midfielder, who has overcome a number of hurdles in his Kenilworth Road career to win the hearts of the Hatters faithful.
That conversation is below, with further links to the interviews he did with BBC Radio Five Live's 72+ podcast and our local media, thanking supporters for their kind messages both in person and online, club staff and team-mates, and especially manager Jack Wilshere for the way he has looked after him during such a difficult time.
His interview with Sky Sports News will be appearing in the build-up to Sunday's 3pm kick-off.
We couldn’t be more proud of Walshy and Missy Bo for bravely speaking out and sharing such a powerful and moving message.
